The Male Bag Foundation Has A New Chair

At a recent board meeting, Scott Chapman was elected the new Chair after a stellar inning by our outgoing Chair, Rob Glover.

Scott joined the board of The Male Bag Foundation two years ago and has completed rides in 2022 and 2023. He is currently the CEO of the Royal Flying Doctor Service (Vic) as well as a keen rider, having completed the Indian Pacific Cannonball Classic last year, from Busselton to Merimbula, on a 1942 Harley Davidson WLR.

Scott has extensive experience in event management and fundraising and is looking forward to helping raise funds and awareness for the Foundation. He is married with three adult children and two grandkids and is planning his next adventure – a ride from Darwin to Victor Harbour in early 2025, again on the old classic bikes.

“The WLR has a top speed of 80km an hour – exactly the same as our postie bikes. So I am a creature of long distances at a slow pace.” – Scott Chapman.

In welcoming Scott, we must acknowledge the tremendous contribution of our inaugural Chair over the last ten years. Under Rob’s guidance, the Foundation has raised $1.6 million and installed Transperineal Biopsy machines in 13 hospitals. We are sure you will join all riders in thanking Rob for his ten years of service.
