The Male Bag Ride 2024 – A Resounding Success

We’re thrilled to share the highlights of our recent Postie Bike Ride, which took place on the Grand Final Day public holiday. Adventure, friendship, and a shared sense of purpose made the day truly unforgettable.

Twenty Postie bikes gathered at Albert Park, ready for the ride. We meandered through the scenic streets of Port Melbourne before regrouping to tackle the iconic Westgate Bridge. With the heavy traffic in mind, our riders navigated the bridge with care.

After crossing the bridge, we made our first stop at the Little River petrol station, fueling up for the journey ahead. Spirits were high as we prepared for the next leg of the ride.

A well-earned coffee break awaited us at Eastern Beach in Geelong. The beautiful coastline and a moment of rest recharged our riders before we headed off to Queenscliff for a delicious gourmet BBQ lunch hosted by the wonderful Paul Sfetkidis.

Thanks to the generous support of Sea Road Ferries, both our bikes and support vehicles crossed from Queenscliff to Sorrento, where we regrouped for the final stretch. With a fuel stop at Tootgarook, we set off, enjoying the coastal breeze as we passed through some of Victoria’s most scenic spots—Rosebud, Dromana, Mount Martha, and beyond.

Our adventure ended at the Naked Racer, a historic motorbike café and museum. It was the perfect final stop, offering a glimpse into motorbike history while we reflected on the journey.

Our ride concluded at Wattle Park, Burwood, supported by Honda’s protective vehicles.

Together, we raised an incredible $50,450 for a great cause,
making this event a resounding success!

Thank you to everyone who supported us, from sponsors to participants. We couldn’t have done it without you!
